It has been four weeks since we last wrote you. We have covered many miles/kilometers since.God blessed our time in Ukraine. It was special to be with Pastor Anatoliy and his family in Kiev. Anatoliy is Sr. Pastor of Philadelphia Church, which we helped start almost 20 years ago. He is now also Overseer for Kiev area churches. It is encouraging to see the growth in the church and the many ministries that have developed in and out of the church. The 20th anniversary celebration will be held in October of this year. Congratulations Philadelphia Church! While in Ukraine we noticed the heavy emphasis on the the Euro 2012 Football (Soccer) games. Kiev and 3 other cities in Ukraine are co-hosts with cities in Poland of this huge event in Europe. The churches are using the opportunity to present the Gospel via testimonies of Christian Athletes at many locations around the country where large screens were set up for people to watch the games and hear the Gospel too.

From Kiev we took the train to Dnipropetrovsk and were met by Pastor Vasiliy who took us to Zaporizhia. He and his family as well as all of the church made us very welcome. The Lord blessed in the services.

We were privileged to minster at “Jesus, the only Hope” Church. It was great to see children take a large part in the service. The Lord touched a number of persons – several came to Christ. We also ministered in a special outreach. A Day of Pentecost Rally was arranged, where some 20 churches joined together to celebrate this great event and to pray and worship God. There was a special presence of God and we sensed a breakthrough. Special prayer was made, led by various pastors, for the nation and challenges facing them. Ukraine is at a crossroads.Bishop Vasiliy overseas this region and it is always a joy to see the pastors work so well together to reach their city and region for Christ. We have been privileged to have a part in the planting of a number of churches in the area. We thank all our partners but particularly Rev. Tony and Marge Abram and Abundant Life Crusades for their great investment in the churches in this area. May the Lord recompense them greatly. We went on to Crimea and Kherson. We will share about this in the next newsletter. See the attached Newsletter for photos from Kiev and Zaporzhia

Your prayers and financial support make it possible for us to carry out this work. Thank you!!
