Warm Greetings in Jesus’ Holy Name!
May His resurrection power fill your heart and life. The Bible says in Romans 8:11: … if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. I John 3:8 says: For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. May He arise in you and expel every work of Satan – every sin, sickness and disease! He is alive and because He is alive we are alive in Him.
In just a few days I will depart for Kenya, East Africa. God is leading us to this nation and this continent to raise up national leaders to conquer their people with the love of Christ. It is almost 35 years since I had been in Kenya. While there I was invited to go with a group of pastors from 10 African nations, who were invited to sing at the funeral President Jomo Kenyatta, it’s first president and founding father. Interestingly, his son was just elected as the new president.
There is a lot of excitement and anticipation for what God will do during our Mission to Africa. Over 300 pastors and leaders are registered for the School of Ministry/Conference we will be conducting in Mombasa. God has brought together a wonderful team of teachers from the US, Canada, Sweden, and Indonesia. The work will not be limited to teaching and training pastors and leaders, we will have medical camps in 5 locations, food distribution, entrepreneurship training, children’s ministry and evangelism. Medical staff is coming from Indonesia and the US. In the afternoons we will have women’s meetings. In the evenings we will have evangelistic meetings. We will have 2 open air evangelistic crusades on Saturday evenings and distribute the team to local churches on Sundays to minister and encourage the believers.
Please pray for the Mission to Africa. 100 local pastors have been gathering for prayer and fasting every Friday. Please join with us and these Kenyan pastors in prayer. We are still lacking finances for Bibles and Food for the pastors. If God speaks to you to give, please know that you will be sowing into a very fertile field. The harvest is very ripe in Kenya.
Please pray for the team members from the various nations as well as the local pastors. We have a school in progress in Slavyansk, Donetsk Region of UKraine. 70 students are enrolled in our intense program. After Kenya I will be going to Ukraine.
Please pray for our family. It is no secret that the enemy attacks the family when you try to do God’s work. Please pray for Nina and Tiffany as I leave. Rachel is in her 7th month of pregnancy and has experienced a lot of pain related to her gall bladder. We are believing for God’s miraculous intervention for her and a good job for Joe who has finished his studies and looking for work. They are in San Diego. Please pray for Susan and David, they are busy trying to get ahead.
